It does rather change the whole world. If there was a way that we could conclusively prove it, can you imagine how much the world would change? If people knew that there was life after death, that there was a soul, that there seems to be some force that draws those who were close in one life together in another... I mean, many religions postulate about the afterlife, and people believe in that, but we have proof.

Unfortunately it's proof that would be difficult to convince the rest of the world with. I'd still like to share our experience once we know enough about it to write any kind of coherent narrative, though.

I don't have any easy answers about the dreams. They're terrible. They're designed to be terrible. Sometimes knowing that makes it better; other times... not so much. I'm impressed that you and Jehan have already managed to make a connection. Hopefully it will help you in the future, especially if our speculations about how to hurt the creature are right.
